Accounting & Administrative Assistant

This is a permanent position attached to a SME in the import and export business and with regional offices. Location: East.

 

Job Scope

-Maintain monthly full sets of accounts for overseas subsidiaries on real time basis and co-ordinate with banks.

-Update overseas internet sales including inventories and perform reconciliations timely and accurately.

-Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and available immediately when needed.

-Assist with local warehouse team in upkeep of inventories on weekly basis.

-Assist with other accounting projects as assigned.

-Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

-Diploma or Degree in Accountancy

-5 years and above of related experience

-Able to work independently with minimum supervision

-Dependable, responsible and possess positive attitude

-Possess initative and able to organise and prioritise work

-With experience of using accounting software

-Able to work independently under tight deadlines

-Able to speak Hindi and English (to liaise with the India and Melbourne subsidiaries)

 

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm 5 day week

 

Salary: $4,000 to $5,000 monthly
