Field Service Engineer

This is a permanent position attached to a Company which is a wholesaler of industrial machinery and equipment. They manufacture, import / export industrial equipment and electronic components.

Location: West (Pioneer)

Job Scope

Machine Installation & Commissioning
-Perform installation and commissioning of new equipment at customer sites.
-Conduct machine testing and verification to ensure proper operation.
-Configure machine settings according to customer requirements.
-Provide site acceptance testing (SAT) support.

Technical Service & Maintenance
-Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
-Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system issues.
-Repair and replace defective components.
-Ensure minimum machine downtime through effective troubleshooting.
-Maintain service records and maintenance reports.

Customer Technical Support
-Provide on-site and remote technical support.
-Respond promptly to customer service requests and breakdown calls.
-Advise customers on machine operation and maintenance best practices.
-Build strong customer relationships and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Training & Documentation
-Train customers’ operators and maintenance personnel.
-Prepare service reports after each visit.
-Maintain installation, maintenance, and repair documentation.
-Assist in developing maintenance procedures and user guides.

Continuous Improvement
-Provide feedback to engineering and sales teams regarding customer issues and machine improvements.
-Support machine upgrades, retrofits, and process improvements.
-Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Requirements

Diploma or ITC/NTC in:
Mechanical Engineering
Mechatronics Engineering
Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Industrial Automation or
Related technical discipline

Work Hours

Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.30pm

Salary Range: $3,500 to $5,000
